• Build muscle.
Provide contrast between ‘before’ and ‘during’ Prep. This makes dieting and the crazy Prep lifestyle far easier to handle as it’s completely different to off-season.
Spend time in a decent calorie surplus to support muscle growth and overall health. Good health is crucial for a smooth Prep.
Encourage a higher calorie maintenance level so that fat loss is easier when it comes time to cut. For example: If your TDEE (total daily energy expenditure) is 2300 calories, you can start your Prep at slightly less than 2300 and lose weight. If your TDEE is 1600, starting Prep less than this doesn’t allow for much room to drop calories over the entire duration of Prep.

Bulking is a phase of bodybuilding

Bulking is the muscle-gaining phase. You’re meant to intentionally consume more calories than your body needs for a set period — often 4–6 months. These extra calories provide your body with the necessary fuel to boost muscle size and strength while weight.

While bulking, some bodybuilders also tend to eat calorie-dense, nutrient-poor foods that are typically not consumed during the cutting phase, including sweets, desserts, and fried foods.

These foods, especially when eaten as part of a high calorie diet, can increase markers of inflammation, promote insulin resistance, and raise levels of fat in your blood.

However, proper bulking is not about extreme overeating or giving free rein to every craving.

It can be performed in a healthy manner if you maintain a proper calorie surplus and focus on eating nutrient-dense foods. These foods contain a high amount of nutrients for their calorie count.

Remember that bulking is also intended to be followed by a cutting phase to decrease your fat levels.
Just be wise and educate yourself before starting any phase to do it right and the healthy way.

•Bodybuilding is the sport of developing one’s muscles through hypertrophic exercises. In order to achieve muscle growth, the athlete progressively overloads muscles through resistance exercises. The sport of bodybuilding has a distinct focus on aesthetics.

Is bodybuilding good or bad?

•There’s no denying that bodybuilding has a myriad of health benefits. But like any other physical training, if you go beyond moderation or perform the exercises without caution, you may find yourself in a challenging position.

I found myself through this sport and it’s absolutely saved my life in more ways than one!

Coming back from my operations was a-bit rough to say the least, but nothing holds me down for to long!

The number on the scale doesn’t factor in muscle
growth
Just as a scale doesn’t
show body fat percentage, it also doesn’t show your muscle mass levels.
Muscle, in particular lean muscle mass, weighs the same as fat but can appear much smaller on
your body.
It’s easy to feel
frustrated if your weight doesn’t seem to be
changing, but if you feel stronger and are starting to notice

ABOUT ME

I've been training in bodybuilding since 2013 and calisthenics for over 4 years, I've come from being anorexic to lifting PBs in the gym and achieving success in calisthenics I never thought possible.

I am a reversed diabetic, which heavily influences the types of food I can intake, I've had to adapt myself around these challenges and find a way to rise above it and create the best version of myself.

I am a busy mum to my beautiful daughter while living a very hectic lifestyle, training has influenced and saved my life in more ways than you can imagine. I am a survivor not only from abuse but also from being anorexic, so believe me when you tell me your story I will listen.

My aim is to give people the physique they dream of and the right nutrition advice that they can take with them throughout their life, and with the right frame of mind you could become the best version of yourself.

If I can overcome these challenges that have come my way in life I will do my best to make sure that you can too.

I have 3 training plans available 4, 8 and 12 weeks depending on what your individual goals are, these programs can be tailored for all levels from beginner to advanced. Specialised nutrition plans

As with the standard plans we will focus on macro goals and gut health, but with the added focus of making sure you can have fulfilling and healthy meals that accommodate your specific dietary and health needs and your overall mental health throughout this journey.

Being a celiac and diabetic myself this is a very personal issue I've had and I take great pride in making sure others can achieve there goals regardless of their conditions.
